i can fully … i can fully understand why you left. my mom is from tainan and i have a lot of family there. i have visited there multiple times and i love it. as soon as i finish school, i want to move back, i miss it so much. i actually stumbled across this video because i wanted to see some of taiwan again!
@xyberfunk But if … @xyberfunk But if the USA did ban imports from China. Then China would call in America’s debt to them. And then America’s economy would collapse also.
@wasabiiiiiiii if … @wasabiiiiiiii if the USA tomorrow banned all imports from China, the Chinese people would starve, their economy would collapse and there would be much suffering… it’s kind of sad but it goes to show that whats left of “Communism” in the world only survives and exists because of “Capitalism”..
@SuperChicago2010 … @SuperChicago2010 Dude, the pop of Tawiwan is like 25 million people. The pop of the US is 310 million people. So, put it into perspective.. And the “real” unemployment figure is above 17% in the US, don’t buy into the obama-media figure of 10% – it’s bull.
Despite ALL of this, the US STILL has an economy about 3-4 TIMES the size of tawain AND China COMBINED.
So just keep in mind the facts.. maybe you’ll appreciate your own country a bit more and not the democrat lies…
taiwan is the … taiwan is the reason why china’s economy is booming. 40-80% of china’s export are taiwanese companies (foxconn, quanta computers, asus)
interesting story, … interesting story, you broke the first law like 3 times though on the condo deal – i hope you learned your lesson. “Never trust ANYONE”
anyhow, not sure why the you would move all the way to the other side of the world to taiwan when you could have just moved somewhere in the USA and had 100x the opportunities…
no, lots of people … no, lots of people move around for different reasons, NAmerica has lots of Asians who relocate here in search of a better life; how is his friend’s situation any different? i doubt they’re trying to run things! it’s experiencing firsthand a different culture- a very brave move imo, i like this video..feels like i’m touring TW on a motorcylcle
Dude… you lost … Dude… you lost half of your equity in that condo?! I’m so sorry to hear that… I would be so angry… You chose the wrong room mates… that’s for sure…
Hope it works out for you, man… I’ll be in Taiwan later this year. Maybe I’ll see ya.
Hey good on ya mate … Hey good on ya mate, great place to go to get away from everything. Good luck fitting in, I always get the stare cos I look British.
“Diplomatically” it … “Diplomatically” it may be, but in actual fact Taiwan has a separate government and is technically a completely different country. Also after living there for several years I realised that the R.O.C probably would have done a much better job than P.R.C had they remained in control of the mainland as well. Taiwan is a completely different place to China.
China is not poor … China is not poor and Taiwan is free and developed. Taiwanese were from China but now of course owns their distinctive culture and society.
Plz don’t fight against each other. I think Beijing and Taipei and work and prosper together like brothers in the coming future!
