Taiwan did not buy … Taiwan did not buy Walrus class submarine from Netherland. As I know, Taiwan has 2 Zwaardvis MK.2 class submarines. Zwaardivis is what Dutch navy had operated until they had 3 Walrus class submarines.

P3C makes more … P3C makes more sense, since it can also launch Harpoon against the invasion fleet. No one will sell Taiwan enough subs to make a difference. P3′s are a lot cheaper.

Ha, in these shots … Ha, in these shots you see all different types of subs.American, from the movies, as well as old Dutch Zwaardvis class sub. And, yes also the underwater shots of the Dolphin, former Walrus class, now called Zeeleeuw class attack submarine. One of the finest in the world in his class diesel electric. Dutch government would not sell these high tech boats to Taiwan because they were afraid to offend the Chinese.

I would then go for the 4 Sauro’s that will become available when replaced by the 212′s, the US has already had talks with the Italians over this, would give a quick boost until the new builds come along, which could be another decade for the first.
