The americans were VASTLY outnumbered and stretched thin. A simple PLA charge with all the troops they had does the trick, it helps when you outnumber your enemy to such a degree. Tanks are useless in the forests.

I am a Taiwanese living in the UK, and the thing is that, we are really different from Chinese in a lot of aspects, not only language, culture, way of thinking, history, but also education, religion, and quality of foods. Taiwanese is Taiwanese, just like Cantonese is Cantonese. When I say Taiwanese is not Chinese, exactly the same can be applied to Cantonese.
