@mksr12 taiwan is … @mksr12 taiwan is not a seperate country and has never been one dumbass. taiwan is part of china as much as texas is part of america
No one really … No one really recognizes Taiwan as a country. Jimmy Carter changed that during his time in office as a show of good faith to Deng Xiaoping, and since then, only a handful of countries see Taiwan as a separate nation. As for protesting this deal, more free trade is a good thing, and it is more likely to create jobs in Taiwan than kill them. Even with cheaper Chinese goods, more Taiwanese goods (just as cheap) will be exported into China. Makes you think eh?

Correct. Cheap refers to two things, how much did the materials used to build the product cost. And how much did the labor used to put the product together cost.
In both cases, cheap is quite applicable. Tiny wages + tiny material cost = a very cheap product.
Examples- Knauf Drywall, corrodes and sickens. Binzhou Futian Biology Technology pet food- kills your cat.
Taiwan is a … Taiwan is a separate country. Just because Han’s make up the population of Taiwan doesn’t mean Taiwan and the PRC have to be the same country. Germany and Austria are ethnically similar, but FRG politicians aren’t clamoring for the countries to be unified.
The Taiwanese do not want to live under the rule of the PRC. The demonstrators fears are justified by past actions of the PRC.
So what? If it were … So what? If it were not for the criminal US foreign interests, Taiwan would still be controlled by China… Not that I like their form of government or their handling of other human rights issues, but matter of fact is that Taiwan is in every aspect more Chinese than anything else!!
