@mathpianist93 The current PLAAF might not be as strong as USA, Russia, U.K., France, or Germany. But its not as weak as you think. It has a decent number of 4th generation aircraft. You’re thinking the PLAAF still fly J-5s and J-6s, but they don’t. Progress has been made in the last 10 years. Within our lifetime, I won’t be surprised if China surpass the United States economically and militarily.
