    Man, seriously? So …
Man, seriously? So much money poured into buying these 2nd rate weapons of the USA when the Taiwanese economy is already not doing well? There is just no valid reason for this, China isnt going to attack at all, it’s just going to slowly absorb Taiwan with its economic and cultural might.

  6. betalover1 Says:

    In “The US …
In “The US acknowledges the Chinese claim that Taiwan is a part of China”, acknowledge has to mean “to recognize the authority or claim of”. Acknowledge is the same as recognize on a diplomatic document.

China has strong diplomatic claim on Taiwan, but ideology is different. As long as the US can it will support Taiwan to an extent constructive.

  7. betalover1 Says:

    Taiwan hopes …
Taiwan hopes desperately to be denied the chance to use any weapons purchased. People in Taiwan has to spend billions to buy so few weapons that they want to be denied the chance to use when the time comes to accept a Hong Kong deal.

mainland China will just use attrition to compel Taiwan. Will Taiwan start a war to avoid being another HK? Eventually no, 20-30 years.

Come on! The stuttering high school english is not likely to gain the chinese ground…

US did annouce the sales, but it was TAIWAN who wants to BUY. So why China just blams US but not Taiwan? There is never a deal if there is just a seller.

Therefore, China gov just has to make such anouncement to appease the Left. She did so with nothing from her instinction.

    The Communist China …
The Communist China will fall. Even the man in this video, is stating points that can be easily overcome. But the United States should always have a heads up. China has many tricks up its sleeve.

  19. HongKongIndependence Says:

    That is true. …
That is true. Notice how the HKSAR government is obedient to Beijing’s ‘suggestions’ to HK such as the railway construction. Kicking out people from their houses to create a railway that can easily be accessed in Shenzhen, is basically showing the ‘One Country, Two System’ never existed, and that ‘Democracy’ in Hong Kong, has NEVER risen since 1997.

    How would china …
How would china protect the largest dam in the world if war should break out? With no doubt they started to depend on all it’s sources of energy and have started work on 12 more. Kind of funny how something so large can make a counrty strong , yet weak at the same time.

    Yes they are …
Yes they are breakig their own rules, and if you go back to my earlier posts, you will discover a news article referencing the outrage from Mainlanders who argue that descrimination laws deliberately omited any mention of MAINLANDERS. Jobs are denied, opportunities are denied. Prosecution is heaviest towards mainlanders who are caught without visas. Permanent bans after deporation from that city. You are so behind on whats going on…fine. Everything is cool, nothing to see here folks.

  22. Rata4You Says:

    It´s EVERYWHERE, …
It´s EVERYWHERE, mate. Cindy Lee is a multi millionaire from Taiwan. When she recently sold her supermarket for $150 million, she had some parting words for the mainlanders….integrate into Canadian culture or fail. Sure, you have the perogative to be a communist defender, and cowardly, and maybe you can choose to live with a cluster of other similiarily minded individuals, but you will fail. Your creds are NOTHING without inhaling the culture of Canada & its respect for democracy.

  23. hcn9 Says:

    all that tells me …
all that tells me is that there is increasing discrimination in canada which is very bad for ur country’s image. u ignorant canadians need to fix up ur attitude. looks to me like canada is a up place to find employment and we gotta tell this to everyone who wants to live there. what a way to promote ur country’s ignorance

  24. hcn9 Says:

    what the has ‘ …
what the has ‘investment class’ got anything to do with immigration? that does not make any sense. ur making up bullshit. so are u saying that hong kong are breaking their own rules and are refusing equal opportunities to all workers no matter the background? looks like british have turned hong kong into a city of ignorance. ignorance must be a large part of western culture

  25. hcn9 Says:

    give me proof that …
give me proof that 1500 mainlanders are being prosecuted every year. where are the sources? i know ur trying to create a rift between chinese but it is not working
